The match lasted into the early moments of the third period but was over long before. OSU’s Landon Robideau took an early lead and cruised to a 21-6 technical fall over OU’s Layton Schneider.
Robideau led 9-2 after the first and 15-4 after the second, then finished it off at the 5:46 mark.

Two first-period takedowns sparked OSU’s No. 18 Casey Swiderski to a 13-2 win over OU’s Alex Braun.
Swiderski secured a bonus-point win with a third-period takedown.

It was another low-scoring bout, but OSU’s second-ranked Sergio Vega topped OU’s No. 25 Tyler Wells 3-1.

The roar for his entrance lasted as long as Jax Forrest’s first match as an OSU Cowboy.
The U23 world champion only recently enrolled at OSU, and he made his debut Saturday, pinning OU’s Carter Schmidt in 47 seconds.
That sealed the Cowboys’ 21st straight Bedlam dual victory with a 25-0 lead and three matches left.

125 pounds: OSU’s Troy Spratley wins low-scoring battle
Troy Spratley doesn’t often win without scoring a takedown, but he took a 3-0 win over OU’s Conrad Hendriksen with an escape, a penalty and a riding time point.
The win extends OSU’s edge to 19-0.

Heavyweight: Long ride carries OSU’s Konner Doucet to win
OSU’s No. 7 Konner Doucet rode OU’s No. 23 Juan Mora for 1:59 of the two-minute second period and that led to the decisive riding time point in a 2-1 win.
Doucet came close to some shots in the third period, looking to put the match away, but Mora pulled free each time.
The decision moves OSU’s lead to 16-0 at intermission.

197 pounds: OSU’s Cody Merrill holds on for narrow victory
OSU’s eighth-ranked Cody Merrill came into the match with a one-spot edge in the rankings and left with a one-point victory over OU’s No. 9 DJ Parker.
Merrill escaped early in the second period and made that hold up for a 1-0 win.
Parker opted for a neutral start, rather than bottom, for the third period, but could not score a takedown.
The Cowboys lead 13-0.

184 pounds: OSU’s Zack Ryder holds on for ranked win
OSU’s No. 10 Zack Ryder gave up a late nearfall, but the clock ran out on his 10-6 win over OU’s No. 11 Brian Soldano.
Ryder took control early with two takedowns and a three-point nearfall in the first period, and that turned out to be enough.

174 pounds: Alex Facundo comes just short of major decision
The ref’s hands went up, but it was to signal the end of the match, not the takedown for OSU’s Alex Facundo, which would have given the 12th-ranked Cowboy a major decision over No. 7 Carter Schubert of OU.
Instead, Facundo had to settle for a 7-2 decision that included a couple of intense scrambles and nearly a full period of Facundo hopping on one leg while Schubert held the other.
Facundo got free and quickly took control of the match to give OSU a 7-0 lead.

Subbing in for starter Dee Lockett, OSU’s Kody Routledge handled his business in the opening match.
After a scoreless first period, Routledge scored three takedowns in the second on his way to an 11-3 major decision over OU’s Peyten Kellar.
OSU holds a 4-0 lead.
