Lamborghini Launches 2026 Hybrid Lineup with UK Temerario Deliveries Start

Lamborghini Temerario: A New Era of Hybrid Supercars in the UK

The UK will soon witness the arrival of a new icon in the world of supercars with the launch of the Lamborghini Temerario. Set to begin deliveries in January 2026, this model marks the successor to the Huracán and represents a significant step forward for Lamborghini’s electrification strategy. The Temerario is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that combines a twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, delivering an impressive total power output of 920 CV. It is also the first and only production super sports car capable of reaching 10,000 rpm, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and performance.

A Fully Hybridized Model Line-Up

The Temerario completes a fully hybridized three-strong model line-up from Automobili Lamborghini. Alongside the V12 Revuelto HPEV and the plug-in hybrid Urus SE, the Temerario reflects the Italian manufacturer’s approach to electrification—focusing on reducing emissions while enhancing performance across its range. The new model is launched as a coupé, with an additional lightweight version called the Alleggerita available for those seeking even more agility and exclusivity.

A Strategic Vision for the UK Market

Davide Sfrecola, who became head of Lamborghini UK in 2025, highlighted the significance of the Temerario’s launch. “Lamborghini enters 2026 in this market with the most comprehensive hybridized super sports car offering in our segment,” he said. He emphasized that the brand’s appeal lies not only in its iconic design but also in the performance enhancements brought by its hybridization programme. This initiative makes the cars easier and more enjoyable to drive while maintaining their emotional impact.

Strong Position in the Global Market

The UK remains one of Automobili Lamborghini’s top five global markets, alongside the USA, Germany, Italy, and Japan. The country maintains its exclusivity through an average lead-time of 12 months for its products. This is evident in the success of the Urus SE, which saw UK deliveries start at the beginning of 2025 and now holds benchmark residual values in its segment. The Revuelto, launched in 2025, also received widespread acclaim from major automotive media during its first full year of production.

Expanding Presence in the UK

Lamborghini continues to expand its presence in the UK with the opening of the Lamborghini Mayfair showroom in London’s most prestigious district. This marks the brand’s twelfth showroom location in the country, with further expansion of aftersales facilities in Leeds and Pangbourne. In 2026, more dealership representations will be added to serve an increasing number of owners, ensuring better access to sales and aftersales services.

Exciting Events and Activities

The year has been filled with events and activities celebrating Lamborghini’s heritage and innovation. The Temerario made its UK dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, where the Temerario GT3 race car was unveiled. This marked the first Lamborghini competition car entirely designed, developed, and built at the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory.

During September’s Lamborghini Day UK at Millbrook Proving Ground, UK clients had the opportunity to experience the new road-going V8 HPEV. The already-sold ‘few-off’ Lamborghini Fenomeno, with only 29 units produced globally, also made its UK debut at the event.

Celebrating Heritage and Innovation

Lamborghini’s rich heritage was celebrated in the UK through events such as the Hampton Court Concours d’Élegance and Salon Privé. The Polo Storico heritage department marked its tenth anniversary in 2025, highlighting its role in restoring, authenticating, and certifying historic models.
