Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd has been receiving an overwhelming amount of love and support from fans after announcing his marriage to his wife. The 37-year-old actor first became well-known when he joined the ITV soap in 2000, at just 12 years old. He portrays David Platt, the mischievous son of Martin Platt, played by Sean Wilson, and Gail, portrayed by Helen Worth.
Over the years, David has been involved in a variety of major storylines, including nearly causing harm to his mother by pushing her down the stairs, seeking revenge on the villain Richard Hillman, and a heartbreaking suicide plot. However, off-screen, Jack's life is very different from his character's, as he enjoys a happy marriage with his wife, Hanni Treweek.

The couple gathered their closest friends and family for a special ceremony that took place in Manchester earlier this year. The wedding followed a romantic proposal from Jack to Hanni during a dream safari holiday, according to reports.
Jack and Hanni were joined at the celebration by some of his current co-stars, including Lucy Fallon, Alan Halsall, Tina O'Brien, and notably, his former on-screen mother, Helen Worth. They also had the company of celebrity friends, such as Chris Hughes, a fellow contestant from Celebrity Big Brother.
This Christmas was the first that Jack and Hanni celebrated as a married couple, and they shared highlights of their festive celebrations on social media. In one photo, the couple can be seen wearing elegant outfits as they stand before a Christmas tree. Another image shows Hanni showing off her sparkling wedding rings.
